Lakers head coach Frank Vogel , via Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet, said that James woke up with soreness and that they will check to see how he feels on Friday, Jan. 28, before undergoing additional testing.

This news comes after James helped lead the Lakers to a 106-96 victory over the James Harden-led Nets. James scored 33 points while shooting 14-21 from the field, in addition to recording seven rebounds and six assists.
